Materials were a big part of creating this Seahorse. Blender Nodes can get really complicated really fast, so it’s important to remain organized and use many different layers to create texture of the skin.

Modelling and Texturing are the foundations of solid 3D art, and this personal project was a study of a complicated organism, with an emphasis on creating accurate subsurface scattering and an underwater environment.

I further focused on retopology as shown in the Progress picture to the right, to facilitate further rigging and animation.
